Mubarakan is a fun and enjoyable film with peppy songs and good cinematography.

Mubarakan has clean dialogues and comic punches; similar to that of Andaz Apna Apna or Hera Pheri. Can be watched with kids, the film is entertaining.

Charan and Karan are twins who were separated as infants after their parents pass away in a car accident. Their uncle Kartar Singh sends Karan to his sister staying in London and Charan to his brother residing in Chandigarh. As a result, the twins grow up as cousins. Both Charan and Karan’s parents are on a look out for suitable brides for them while they already have girlfriends. The duo are not able to share with their parents, they approach their uncle Kartar Singh for help but he creates a lot of mess instead. With a series of hilarious incidents, a lot of confusions, misunderstandings and more, the film entertains. The fun filled story has many hilarious dialogues, although sardar jokes are a bit clichéd. The confusion in the film is interesting to watch, but the climax is a predictable.

Anil Kapoor as Kartar Singh is brilliant in this film. Arjun  Kapoor gives a good job in the double roles of Karanveer Singh and Charanveer Singh. Ileana D’Cruz as Sweety and Karan’s girlfriend is great! She gives an excellent performance. Athiya Shetty is seen playing Binkle, Charan’s girlfriend. She gave a good performance and her acting skills are better in this film. Rahul Dev (as Binkle’s father), Ratna Pathak Shah (as Karan’s mother) and Pavan Malhotra ( as Charan’s father) are seen in pivotal roles in the film.

Himman Dhamija gives good cinematography, the film has been shot in picturesque locates in London and Chandigarh. The music of the film is good. Songs is melodious – Hawa Hawa is composed by Gourov-Roshin and Jatt Jaguar composed by Amaal Mallik. Mubarakan is a family entertainer and the film can be watched with the entire family.

Although there are many songs in the film, Mubarakan still is a good film to watch.
