In the upcoming horror-comedy Blood Fest, movie fans are preparing to visit a festival celebrating the most iconic horror movies. They discover that the charismatic showman behind the event has a diabolical agenda. As the present attendees lose their battle against life, three teenagers who have horror-film knowledge than most in the real-world have to get together and battle through every madman, monstrosity, and terrifying scenario if they have any hope of surviving.

Blood Fest is written and directed by Owen Egerton and produced by Rooster Teeth, the Austin, Texas-based company responsible for the web series RWBY and the science fiction-comedy Lazer Team, among many other projects. The film features Robbie Kay, Seychelle Gabriel, Jacob Batalon, Barbara Dunkelman, Tate Donovan, Nick Rutherford, Chris Doubek, Rebecca Wagner, and Zachary Levi.

Blood Fest will receive its world premiere at the SXSW Film Festival at Austin’s Stateside Theatre on March 9.
