The Strangers are going to be seen in theaters in The Strangers: Prey at Night. The sequel to Brian Bertino’s 2008 film had to go under development for years, even though the script was already on the page. Coming up after a decade, the trio killers return with an all new take from horror cinema of the 1970s.
For the sequel, the Strangers can be seen in an expanded playground and head to a vacation retreat mobile home park, where a family stops in for the night and faces dangerous masked madmen. We see a bitter teenager soon to be sent away to boarding school (Bailee Madison), her brother (Lewis Pullman), and her parents (Christina Hendricks and Martin Henderson) — in continuation of the first film, they’re horrified when they come face-to-face against the Strangers, with drama that turns horrific on every fold.
The Strangers: Prey at Night is being released in cinemas by Aviron Pictures, March 9.
