The film features entire atmosphere of Mumbai chawl tactfully created by Arjun Mukherjee, also Renuka Shahane is shining with her masterly presence and flawless performance.

The film is just about 100 minutes, the story is gripping. 3 Storeys are three unique stories set on various levels of the same chawl. Although they are not exactly interconnected between them is the chawl. The first track is based around how a businessman Vilas Naik (Pulkit Samrat) comes looking out for a house in Mumbai, meets Auntie Florie’s (Renuka Shahane). With complications both of these characters have a backstory which is revealed in time. The second story is based on a cliched Bollywood couple of Varsha (Masumeh Makhija) and Shankar (Sharman Joshi). They are in love and give each other duration of one year to go and make it big in life. The third one is about a young couple in Suhel (Ankit Rathi) and Malini (Aisha Ahmed) and the way their cast comes in between their love. Just like the rest two stories, this story features a twist towards the end.

Written by Althea Delmas Kaushal, the story narrates about three different tracks keeping clients glued to the seats. Although Renuka Shahane’s story seemed half-baked but it attracts the most.

Renuka Shahane is seen in a wig, she gives a mind-blowing job portraying the role of Auntie Florie. She is perfect in the role of a Christian and a Konkani lady. Her in-control emotions help to build her character giving it a fluctuating graph. Pulkit Samrat is great with his limited presence. He is seen in a totally different avatar in this one. Masumeh Makhija is great and gives a very natural performer. She does not have many dialogues and speaks through her expressions. Sharman Joshi gives a great role, he is not an essential part of that story. Tarun Anand, the actor is playing Varsha’s husband is very good. Debutantes Aisha Ahmed and Ankit Rathi are great.

Clinton Cerejo’s music is good – Arijit Singh and Jonita Gandhi’s Bas Tu Hai is a good number.

3 Storeys is a suspense thriller.

3 Storeys releases on 09th March, 2018.
