With no dull moment throughout the film, 102 Not Out combines humour and drama with fun performers Amitabh Bachchan, Rishi Kapoor & Jimit Trivedi. Lots of heart-melting emotions on-screen, this is a film that can be watched with the entire family.

Dattatraya Vakharia (Amitabh Bachchan), is the 102-year-old father who is on a mission of breaking world record of the oldest man alive by outliving him. So as to do that, he has been suggested to keep away from dull and boring company, who in this case is 75-year-old son Babulal Vakharia (Rishi Kapoor). Babulal is an old-school son to this super-cool dad. He’s always on time and believes in doing the right thing such as the note that says ‘Geyser band karen’ in this bathroom. To attain his record, Datta daadu makes a decision to send Babulal to an old age home. Babulal is not comfortable as he can’t adjust in any environment but his home asks for another way out. Dattatraya comes up with few challenges and asks Babulal to clear them all to retain his stay in the house.

Saumya Joshi has been credited as the writer of the film, 102 Not Out is a great film with adorable chemistry between the father and a son. The film also shared about how the makers give tips to lead a cheerful life. The film is of just 102 minutes, but is overwhelming. Abhijat Joshi gets a special thanks in the credits and throughout the film, we can see his magical presence.

102 Not Out gives us star performance by Amitabh Bachchan, who is more than being perfect, he’s having time of his life in this film. He masters the Gujarati accent and gives a great dialogue delivery. Along with his brilliant acting, it’s the way his unique character has been created that is creditable. Rishi Kapoor was commended for his role like Dadu in Kapoor & Sons and Rauf Lala in Agneepath, he proves his skills beyond the image he had in the film industry. He gives a serious look and plays a different character. Both him and Amitabh Bachchan have established how good mature with age. Jimit Trivedi, who was seen as Goti in Bhool Bhulaiyaa makes his Bollywood comeback with 102 Not Out. He is great and shines bright.

102 Not Out has a good script and Umesh Shukla has made a beautiful film. Vishal Patil’s screenplay is brilliant. Songs by Salim-Sulaiman are entertaining. Arijit Singh’s Bachche Ki Jaan is great with the setting, it’s background music has been used very interestingly throughout the film. Kulfi is exceptional and it’s written tactfully by Saumya Joshi.

102 Not Out is a family entertainer, audience will enjoy watching Amitabh Bachchan & Rishi Kapoor together.
