Bollywood actress Dia Mirza is returning to the big screen as Manyata in Sanju and she’s thrilled to be back where she belongs.

After a six-year break, Dia Mirza will return to the big screen as Manyata in Sanju and she’s thrilled to be back where she belongs. Sanju is her first film in six years, the actress calls it her second innings. This will also be her first film after marriage. Dia says she was facing the camera after a gap and was petrified. But the entire team and was supportive.

When asked if she wanted to be on production team- Dia says, “I learnt a lot while acting and I decided to use that in production. I cast my contemporaries in Bobby Jasoos. I think that’s when people felt I wasn’t keen on acting anymore.

Her husband Sahil has been her best friend. The duo were friends for seven years before they got married.

When asked about her experience working with Ranbir Kapoor, Dia said: Ranbir is a cool person with an incredible temperament. He’s the first one on the set and the last to leave. Despite all the prosthetics and the heat, he never showed any irritation. He gives his 100 per cent to his work.
