The trailer of Sui Dhaaga – Made in India, the much talked about film starring Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma was released on August 13, 2018, at Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai. The trailer of Sui Dhaaga (needle and thread) will was appreciated on YouTube and social media.
Varun Dhawan who plays a tailor called Mauji in Sui Dhaaga and Anushka Sharma plays Mamta, an embroiderer. Sui Dhaaga – Made in India is a film about finding love and respect through self-reliance. Varun and Anushka have been paired together for the first time in a film.
Sui Dhaaga – Made in India is produced by Aditya Chopra’s Yash Raj Films (YRF). The film is inspired by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Make in India campaign.
Sui Dhaaga revolves around a small town and rural India. The cast and crew shot the film in Chanderi in Madhya Pradesh. Sui Dhaaga – Made in India is directed by Sharat Kataria with producer Maneesh Sharma for YRF.
Sui Dhaaga – Made in India is set to release on September 28, 2018 in theatres.
