Manmarziyaan is a hearty expression of love; we have a masterpiece by Anurag Kashyap!
The film is about the chemistry between all the three leads characters that is endearing and stands out in this film.

Vicky Kaushal and Taapsee Pannu are exceptional and have given mind blowing performances, Abhishek Bachchan is great in his role! The music is fantastic by genius Amit Trivedi and the way the songs are incorporated with much ease.

Manmarziyaan, which in Hindi translates to ‘do what pleases your heart’, is about a very complicated, confusing and a heartwarming love that connects Vicky (Vicky Kaushal), Rumi (Taapsee Pannu) and Robbie (Abhishek Bachchan). Vicky feels that he and Rumi are lovers blessed by the stars but is a very immature man. He is unable to confess his feelings to Rumi’s parents and does not commit. We then meet a successful banker from London, Robbie. He is a great guy who believes in bonds and sacred marriage. Rumi is loving and is very upset with Vicky’s irresponsible behavior. She warns him that she will get married to Robbie if he doesn’t agree to their relationship. The remaining story builds a lot of drama and creates confusion leading to the fate of this trio. The entire film is a lot of entertainment and thrills.

Manmarziyaan has Kanika Dhillon as the salient star who has worked on the script, screenplay & dialogues. The lady has excelled in every department. Anurag Kashyap brings the dark undertone to the scenes, showcases love in a very realistic way. The dialogues in Manmarziyaan are captivating. Very interesting halves of the film with many interesting elements, where there is madness and a lot of fun.

Manmarziyaan has star performance by Taapsee Pannu who deserves appreciation! She is great in the film and her character of Rumi is well written and brilliantly portrayed by Taapsee. Vicky Kaushal is a seasoned actor, he gives flawless act with a pure and unadulterated dedication to the art. He is outstanding in Manmarziyaan. Abhishek Bachchan plays the role of Robbie, his silence, his breakdown, his definition of love – everything was awesome. Saurabh Sachdeva as Kakaji (Marriage Bureau person) and Vikram Kochhar (Robbie’s brother) have a limited scope but make their presence felt with some hilarious one liners. Ashnoor Kaur (Rumi’s cousin) gives a sweet dose of innocence.

Manmarziyaan by Anurag Kashyap is a treat by a man who has given us Gangs Of Wassruy, Ugly, Black Friday, Dev D; it’s his first romantic film.

Manmarziyaan is a unique love story. Very realistic with some outstanding performances.
