Sui Dhaaga – starring Varun Dhawan has turned the actor turn into an expert in his art!

Varun Dhawan gives a very sincere act in the film; the pre-interval sequence and climax is phenomenal.

Sui Dhaaga – Made In India has taken the franchise to rise, following the likes of Secret Superstar & PadMan. Mauji (Varun Dhawan) works at a sewing machine shop and is not given his due by the owner. His wife Mamta decides to go against this and suggests Mauji to start something of his own. Mauji is seen working hard to gain his lost self-respect. Mauji decides to put up a sewing machine on a road and starts his journey of his life.

Sharing the tensions in the family, Mauji and Mamta manage to keep their dream intact. They not just face many hardships, they are forced to struggle as Mauji and Mamta accept a job in a factory. Their work gets labelled by big brands in the market which brings them back to being slaves. Rest of the story is about the ‘extraordinary’ fight of this ‘ordinary’ couple.

Sui Dhaaga is written and directed by Sharat Katariya. The film does create a setup as Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, it needed a few light moments and fun dialogues but Sui Dhaaga fails on paper. Varun Dhawan gives an exhilarating performance, his heart-warming touches bring a lot of feel to the story making this a good film. Shahrat Katariya had given his last film Dum Laga Ke Haisha which was a 24 Karat magic on screen. Sui Dhaaga is equally brilliant.

Varun Dhawan nails the part as Mauji! Anushka Sharma has a simple appearance and is good as Mamta. Her character role was great in the film. Raghubir Yadav as Mauji’s father has many quirky sequences. Yamini Das as Mauji’s mother is great and remains an star shining bright.

Sui Dhaaga features Anu Malik’s music which is great and the songs work well with the story. Chaav Laga, Khatar Patar and Sui Dhaaga in the climax are ideal for the story and the impact of those scenes leave one mesmerized.

Sui Dhaaga – Made In India is entertaining but has a few heart-wrenching moments. Varun Dhawan blends his performance with expertise.

Sui Dhaaga Movie releases on 28th September, 2018.
