AndhaDhun is unpredictable, the story is captivating and features great performances.

Made with a small budget, AndhaDhun has a strong script. With various twists and turns, outstanding performances by all cast members, the music in the film is great as well. The film does not fall in any specific genre and will appeal to all movie buffs. The film has a few comical moments, it is thrilling and has music and everything that keeps audience entertained.

Akash is a pianist who is blind and dreams of moving to London for some kind of Piano competition. He tries to complete his piece for many days and then he meets Sophia (Radhika Apte). Sophia helps him to play at a club where he meets Pramod Sinha (Anil Dhawan) who’s has been a star of 1970s. Pramod invites Akash to play for his wife Simi (Tabu) on her birthday. Then Akash and Sophia fall in love but soon their lives begins to get complicated when he decides to go to Pramod Sinha’s house. Unfortunately he along with Simi gets involved in a crime scene. Not to give any spoilers, the story is a lot more than one can predict.

Sriram Raghavan, Arijit Biswas, Yogesh Chandekar and Pooja Ladha Surti have worked on the script. The film is inspired from the French short film L’accordeur [writer and director: Olivier Treiner], the story is complicated and not easy for anyone to guess what’s coming next.The film has equal number of fun scenes and serious scenes.

The film stars Ayushmann Khurrana, who has given his career best performance.The actor has previously given us some outstanding performances in films like Vicky Donor, Dum Laga Ke Haisha and Shubh Mangal Saavdhan. With AndhaDhun he has moved higher to another level. Ayushmann Khurrana must get his due in Bollywood with such great performances. He is indeed one of the BEST actors we have. Tabu is outstanding in her role, her part is well written for her. She can gain sympathy of the audience and in no time get back to backstab. Radhika Apte has a smaller role in this one but she proves her worth of being impressive in her time on screen. She gets some interesting fun dialogues that entertains everyone. Manav Vij plays the role of a police officer who conveys a lot through his eyes and is able to shift from being angry to being emotional in a single scene. Anil Dhawan is great as Pramod Sinha. Ashwini Kalsekar as Rasika has a short time but is good in every scene. Zakir Hussain as Dr Swami is funny in his scenes and is a impressive performer. Chhaya Kadam as Maushi provides the impact of a strong supporting cast. Actors playing the little kid, Murli and Mrs. D’Sa are good too.

AndhaDhun is a well directed film and Amit Trivedi gives the right music for the film. AndhaDhun has Woh Ladki that is the best of all. Laila Laila is great and Naina Da Kya Kasoor is a musical treat.

AndhaDhun is one of the best thrillers by Bollywood.
