The first full trailer for Disney’s live-action Dumbo movie is out. Dumbo has been one of Disney’s classic stories featured on screen, it is considered one of the best-animated movies made in Hollywood. The story of a flying baby elephant trapped in a circus and looking to be reunited with his separated mother has is about sorrow and triumph. For those who have missed out on the animated flick, Tim Burton, the director who made classics like Edward Scissorhands and Beetlejuice and the less-appreciated Alice in Wonderland remake, is now making a live-action adaptation of the film that features digitally created Dumbo surrounded by real actors.
The trailer of the film is out, and it is appealing to the eyes, and touches to the heart. The film seems to be an adaptation of the classic, as we see Dumbo in the possession of a circus, owned by Danny DeVito’s characters.
Colin Farrell can be seen playing the one-armed trainer for Dumbo, whose kids discover that the little elephant can fly. When he gets separated from his mother, the children decide to get him back with her. However, when Dumbo’s flying skills make him famous, that mission seems difficult when vested interests are keen to make profits out of the pitiable animal.
“You have something very rare,” Vandevere says in the trailer, a hint of grandiosity in his voice. “You have wonder, you have mystique, you have magic.”
Dumbo will be ready to hit the theaters on March 29.
