Zero revolves around Bauua Singh who lives a very interesting life. His dialogues are hilarious. Credits to the writer Himanshu Sharma and to Shah Rukh Khan for bringing out the best in a character. Zero is a 2 hour 39 minutes film and is not a common love story, it’s unique and beautiful. The film should be watched for Shah Rukh Khan.

Bauua Singh hails from Meerut, he is a vertically challenged 38-year-old unmarried man. Bauua feels that he can’t match up to the normal people. Bauua lives his life ‘king-sized’ with his friend played by Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub. He is in love with the superstar Babita Kumari but at the same time is also have applied at Shaadi.com for marriage. Shaadi.com connects him with Aafia and he starts falling for her. The film shares the beautiful bond between Bauua Singh and Aafia. Bauua Singh has his reasons for leaving Aafia for some reasons and decides to pursue Babita Kumari. The film is about all that happens next.

Himanshu Sharma gave a the story a good pace and begins the film with the normal life of a vertically challenged man slides in the fantasy world in no time. Himanshu Sharma’s dialogues are great and Shah Rukh Khan did his bit to shine the character. Although the story seems flawed but the message is beautiful. Zero allows one to celebrate their own incompleteness. Brilliant cinematography and stellar performances, Zero is a good film. Manu Anand captured some interesting frames of Meerut as well as the US portions with his camera. The film is a visual treat and with good performances, the flaws fade away.

Experimental film by Shah Rukh Khan as Bauua Singh makes it his one of the best performances of the year. The dialogue delivery and the physical humour by SRK with VFX is impressive. Bauua was shown as a multilayered character. Anushka Sharma is good in her role. She did not go overboard with the body language and was in control. Katrina Kaif looks great and gives an impresses performance. She plays a big movie star, who feel incomplete from within at the same time. Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub adds the comical bits and is fantastic in his role. Cameos of Sridevi, Alia Bhatt, Kajol, Karisma Kapoor Juhi Chawla and Deepika Padukone are a part of the film.

Aanand L. Rai’s film features Mere Naam Tu which is melodious. Issaqbaazi, Husn Parcham & Heer Badnaam are also a part of the film.

Zero starring Shah Rukh Khan as Bauua Singh will make the audience live a fuller and ‘king-sized’ life.
