Shah Rukh Khan to start shooting for Don 3 soon?

Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan, who has been making headlines for his newly released film Zero, is gearing up to take up new projects in 2019. Shah Rukh Khan had taken up the iconic character of Amitabh Bachchan’s Don. The remake was stylish and was complete with a twist. In Don 2, the actor returned to take care of some unfinished business. After seven years, fans have been demanding Don 3 from the actor and also the makers. Well, it is heard that the third film in the franchise is all set to roll.

According to a PinkVilla report, Shah Rukh Khan will begin filming for Don 3 soon, which is slated to release in 2020. “Farhan and his team were working on the script of Don 3 for the last one and half year. They have finally locked the script and believe me, it’s going to be the best of the franchise. Don 3 will have a completely different storyline, unlike Don 2 which was the continuation of the first part,” a source close to the project told Peepingmoon. The shooting schedules of the film are not yet finalized but the makers apparently will roll it by August 2019 and it will release in 2020

Along with the same report, it was suggested that Priyanka Chopra who played the role of Roma in previous installments will not feature in Don 3.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan will also be seen in Rakesh Kumar biopic, which is titled Saare Jahaan Se Aacha. The film was supposed to star Aamir Khan in lead but he passed up on it. Aamir Khan had recommend that Shah Rukh Khan will be the ideal fit for the role.
