Watch this love story that comes with a modern twist. The film makers have presented a new story.

The film starts with the family of Sweety (Sonam Kapoor) busy with festivities and celebrating her top grades in her post-graduation exams. Just like in any typical Indian family would decide, they are also busy looking for a groom for Sweety. She meets Sahil Mirza (Rajkummar Rao), who is an aspiring writer, and she decides to to run from her family. As we have got to see in the trailer itself, the makers have hinted about Sweety’s sexual preference, we see Sahil Mirza falling for her.

Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga has the performances such as Gazal Dhaliwal who’s to be appreciated – she’s given a great story and written the dialogues of the film. Anil Kapoor, Juhi Chawla and Madhumalti Kapoor (Gifty Biji) are strong pack of actors. The film has a house party song that is good and Gud Naal Ishq gets the energy levels high.

Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga is about a pertinent issue regarding marriages of the middle class, queer and Indian women. The trailer of the movie had received a positive response from the audience. Sonam Kapoor is essaying an LGBTQ character in the movie. We see Anil is collaborating with his daughter Sonam Kapoor in Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga for the first time. Produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and directed by debutant Shelly Chopra Dhar.

Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga is entertaining as a film with a brave attempt. The film is great with strong supporting cast and bold dialogues that are captivating till the end.
