Simmba is combo of Golmaal and Singham! The film has some fantastic dialogues by Ranveer Singh. This Singham franchise– we have Simmba blossoming in the frame work and beyond. The film should not be missed as it has many compelling sequences that are great. Simmba is for all ages, it will appeal to viewers of all movie genre.
We have Singham (Ajay Devgn) narrating the story of a famous cop Sangram Bhalerao aka Simmba (Ranveer Singh) growing up in the same village as him. Right from childhood, he has vision clear of becoming a police officer but not for doing good deeds but earn power and hence gain pocket money. He is wild and loud but has his heart in the right place, Simmba in Miramar (Shivgad) deals with harsh reality of life.
He gets mixed with the bad guys while working for Durva Ranande (Sonu Sood) but there are good guys who help him to realise who he really is. While going through the illegal things happening in the city, Simmba goes into the redemption mode making everything right. The rest of the story is all about how he changes his side for good but face all kind of obstacles through this. It is said that the film is inspired by film Temper, the basic plot of Simmba is adopted. Simmba has cameos of Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar that proved that Rohit Shetty has another level planned. With many comical scenes and some dramatic moments, the film is entertaining.
Simmba starring Ranveer Singh who seems fit and the right match for the role. Ranveer Singh is great in the role and does justice to the character. Sara Ali Khan has a limited role, the Kedarnath actress was missing for the major chunk of the story. She is beautiful and adds to the story. Sonu Sood has done a great job with his role. The actor sports thick black beard and impressive physique. Ashutosh Rana is great as an honest cop, Mohile, who feels frustrated and wants to do good to things happening around. The relationship between Simmba and Mohile is great and interesting. Siddhartha Jadhav is doing well in the role but he’s stereotyped.
Simmba is a Shetty film with with Amar Mohile, Chandan Saxena and S. Thaman’s background score which is good. The Simmba theme is well used and mashed up well with Singham’s theme. Aankh Marey is a good song in Simmba.
Simmba offers a combo we can enjoy. Rohit Shetty and Ranveer Singh have excelled in creating a masala film on screen. This entertainer is for everyone to watch!
