Sara Ali Khan, Kartik Aaryan are coming together for Imtiaz Ali’s next, report confirms

There has been a lot of speculation going around Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan doing a film together. According to the reports, Sara Ali Khan has signed Imtiaz Ali’s Love Aaj Kal 2 opposite Kartik. However, she denied about any such project in hands when asked about in an interview. In another report by Mumbai Mirror it is now confirmed that Sara and Kartik have joined the team along with Imtiaz Ali to do Love Aaj Kal 2. The actress had earlier expressed her wish to work with Kartik Aaryan and now it seems like her dreams have come true.

According to the report, “Kartik, Sara and Randeep Hooda have been doing readings for a while now and the film is ready to go on the floors. Unlike imtiaz’s previous two films—- Jab Harry Met Sejal and Tamasha, which were set in foreign locales, this one largely unravels in Punjab and Delhi.”

To further confirm these reports, Kartik Aaryan has confirmed while talking to Mumbai Mirror that he has signed Imtiaz Ali’s next film. He told, “Yes, I am doing Imtiaz Sir next film- he is one of my favourite filmmakers and I have always wanted to work with him. I am glad it’s finally happening.”

Kareena Kapoor Khan also confirmed the news on Koffee With Karan 6. When she was asked about Kartik and Sara, she said, “Kartik is wonderful. Sara and Kartik will make a good pair… they are planning to do a movie together. He is massy, she is classy.”
