Deepika Padukone, Vikrant Massey wrap Delhi phase of Chhapaak with ‘Happily halfway done’

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone and Vikrant Massey who have been busy shooting for their upcoming film Chhapaak in Delhi have called it a wrap. Director Meghna Giulzar shared wrap up pictures on social media where Deepika and Vikrant can be seen posing with the entire Chhapaak team.

Sharing the news on Instagram director Meghna Gulzar captioned the pictures w that read, “Happily halfway done! Delhi schedule wrap for team #chhapaak”. deepika-padukone-chhapaak

For the film, Deepika Padukone will be seen with a disfigured face with the help of prosthetic makeup. Several pictures and videos have been leaked from the sets of Meghna Gulzar film.

Deepika Padukone is playing the role of an acid attack survivor, inspired by Laxmi Agarwal who now runs an organisation Stop Acid Attacks. This is the very first time Vikrant Massey and Deepika are coming together for a project. The actress is back on film sets after a sabbatical of one year. Deepika was busy with her wedding preparations with husband Ranveer Singh.

Also, Chhapaak marks Deepika Padukone’s production debut in Bollywood. The actress is co-producing the film with Meghna Gulzar. The film will release in January next year.

Deepika Padukone was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat. The film was a big hit and gave the actress achievement in her career.
