Prakash Jha set to roll out a film this year

Not waiting for the leading cast to be available all over again, Prakash Jha, is preparing for his next venture. The filmmaker has made hard-hitting films like Damul, Hip Hip Hurray and Rajneeti among others. He is ready with his next film Pareeksha—The Final Test. The filmmaker recently completed the shooting of the film and has stepped into the post-production phase.

“Prakash Jha was earlier planning a big budget sequel to Raajneeti called Chankayaneeti, but then there were not too many actors whose dates he couldn’t fit in immediately. Instead, he chose a content driven script that did not rely on stars, but on very good actors and he opted for performers like Adil Hussain and Priyanka Bose to carry it out. Sanjay Suri is also essaying a role of a cop in the film,” inform our sources.

Just like his other films — big or small — Prakash Jha’s upcoming film is based on a hard-hitting subject and has been inspired by real life incidents and stories. When the director finishes the postproduction of the movie, he will work out the release dates for sometime this year.
