After the failure of Disney’s last live-action Dumbo, the company is looking to do well and reap profits from Aladdin. However, only in time will feature Hollywood star Will Smith on board assisting the movie’s case or not.
Disney’s Aladdin releases on May 24. After the news about the big release, Disney has released a new TV spot of the upcoming live-action version of Aladdin. Just like the trailer, the new promo is going to offer no relief to die-hard fans of the original.
The clip is one-minute long, and there is a longer interaction between the lead characters of Jasmine and Aladdin. Aladdin is able to avoid security only to approach his ladylove with a delicacies. Jasmine asks Aladdin how he managed to fool the guards.
Later, Will Smith’s Genie is seen and we see both Naomi Scott and Mena Massoud. Aladdin is expected to be rich and colourful; the film sets are not able to enhance the overall look.
The film’s official synopsis reads, “A thrilling and vibrant live-action adaptation of Disney’s animated classic, “Aladdin” is the exciting tale of the charming street rat Aladdin, the courageous and self-determined Princess Jasmine and the Genie who may be the key to their future. Helmed by Guy Ritchie and produced by Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich, Aladdin releases on May 24.
