Student Of The Year 2 has special appearances in the film – Alia Bhatt and Will Smith!

The story starts with a flashy sequence in which we get to see Rohan (Tiger Shroff) playing for Student Of The Year 2‘s trophy. Then we see a very ordinary Pishorilal Chamandas college and joins the top and ‘elite’ St. Teresa because his girlfriend Mridula aka Mia is from that college.

Coming along for his girlfriend Teresa, he gets to meet Shreya (Ananya Panday) and they come close to each other because they both like to dance. Mia does not like Rohan because he’s a ‘bloody gawaar’, and Rohan is attracted to Shreya. Mia realises she’s at fault, Rohan realises he has been right. Then playing Kabbadi, Will Smith doing a short appearance in a song, Samir Soni screaming ‘Gooood morning’ and also many people seen doing a lot of silly things.

Student Of The Year 2 has Arshad Sayed work penning the story of this film. With a few good looking actors, a few tik-tok trending songs. Sadly the script is bland, it has nothing to convey. The film follows the traditional format of casting good looking characters, with no credible content, makes them pleasing to your eyes. The action sequences are many and choreographed similar to the other Tiger films. The disappointing part is that Student Of The Year was entertaining and a second-rate sequel is average.

Student Of The Year 2 has Harsh Beniwal – the first Youtuber who is set to make his mark in Bollywood. His character deserved a lot more offering humour and fun elemet. Tiger Shroff is fantastic when he’s dancing or performing action scenes, but his acting is average. Ananya Panday has an alluring appearance but needs to improve in the acting field. Tara seems sidelined as her character doesn’t justify a successful debut. Aditya Seal gives a decent contribution to the film.

Punit Malhotra returns after a sabbatical post a poor performing Gori Tere Pyaar Mein, he has a lot more to offer. The movie looks rich and also his direction. The music album is average by Vishal-Shekhar. There is no song that is great, they have given a version of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Jatt Ludhiyane Da but doesn’t do any good just makes it worse.

Student Of The Year 2 Movie is a Dharma movie, the part 1 was good not so much for the sequel.
