Article 15 is starring Ayushmann Khurrana, the film is a thriller. Article 15 shares a lot, right from prejudice to bigotry, Anubhav Sinha gives his best as a filmmaker.

The film shows where our country is going wrong and generates curiosity about it! Ayushmann Khurrana has continued his success at delivering outstanding performances, including in this commercial film. Article 15 features dark undertones that sets the theme of the film. Anubhav Sinha’s Mulk was also a film with good content.

Article 15 is set in a fictional city named as Lal Gaon in Uttar Pradesh (which originally set in Madhya Pradesh), the film stays true to its name. Article 15 explores the section of Constitution of India which says the state shall not discriminate against any citizen on grounds only of religion, race, caste, sex, place of birth or any of them. IPS officer Ayan Ranjan brings light to the unfortunate happenings as he gets transferred to Lal Gaon. Two of the local girls are found hanging on a tree, while another girl was missing. Ayan does his bit to find the third girl and solve the mystery behind the death of the first two. He’s helped by the local police officers, but soon comes to know about the situation. The film unravels dark sides to the story, Ayan tries to maintain his composure till the end. This film is not just about finding out the verdict, but also the way our country is burdened by the taboos.

Article 15 is Anubhav Sinha and Gaurav Solanki’s story that will shake audience. The story moves forward to deal with discrimination. Article 15 starts with some villagers performing a folk song about the age-old issues of rich and poor; this gives a glimpse of the film that is set to take to a world you will surely feel uncomfortable in.

Article 15 has Ayushamann who masters the art with his long pauses and expressions that speak way louder than words. Andhadhun, Badhaai Ho are his top hits! Sayani Gupta as Gaura is great. she speaks volumes with her performance. Brilliant performance is by Mohd. Zeeshan Ayyub in the film. His extended special performance will be memorable. Manoj Pahwa gives his legendary best, and Kumud Mishra is exceptional.

Anubhav Sinha, after Mulk, has come back stronger with his hold in his ‘socio-political’ zone with Article 15. Article 15 makes a strong statement with facts. The film presents all that is wrong. This is a brilliant film for Ayushmann Khurrana (after Andhadhun & Badhaai Ho) & Anubhav Sinha (after Mulk).
