Katrina Kaif To Star Opposite Hrithik Roshan For Satte Pe Satta Remake?

Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini’s musical comedy film Satte Pe Satta was based on Seven Brides For Seven Brothers and was an entertainer. The remake of the same will be taken up by Farah Khan which will feature the superstar Hrithik Roshan, who has had a successful on Super 30’s box office journey. Now another exciting news is that actress Katrina Kaif’s name is being considered for female lead. She will be portraying the character of Hema Malini in the film.

According to previous rumored reports, it was said that Deepika Padukone had been finalized for the film. Rohit Shetty the producer of the film apparently wanted Deepika as he thought that she would fit the role perfectly.

A source close to BollywoodHungama revealed updated details of the development of the film. The source said, “Yes, the makers were considering many top A-list actresses for the role. Considering that it was Hrithik Roshan and also owing to the fact that they needed to fill in the shoes of Hema Maliniji, the makers had a tough choice to make. But eventually, they thought Katrina would fit the bill. In fact, Katrina is quite honored at the opportunity and she is also excited to play this interesting role.”

The source also went on saying,” Satte Pe Satta indeed had an ensemble cast and it will take a while for the makers to put in the cast together. As of now, talks are just on and as soon as all of it is finalized, the announcement regarding the same will be made.”

The remake of the film is set and to be slated soon next year and along with Rohit, even Reliance Entertainment would be in the production business.
