Judgementall Hai Kya is quirky and very entertaining. The film plays with the mind throughout, Kangana and Rajkummar have given exceptional performances.

The film does have sequences where they go overboard with their craziness and the narrative turns slow. With a few disturbing scenes right from the start that clearly suggests that it will be anything but normal. Bobby (Kangana Ranaut) has a tough time growing up and is carrying the baggage of a disturbed past. She is subjected to domestic violence and believes there are issues in the concept of love. Bobby rents a part of her apartment to Keshav (Rajkummar Rao) and his girlfriend Reema (Amyra Dastur). Seeing the duo sharing love, Bobby gets uncomfortable and begins to interfere in their relationship. The story moves on and Bobby falls for Keshav and there is a lot more happening. A few years later they meet again and deal with very different circumstances. Is she running from Keshav? Why is he running from her? The film needs to be watched to know it!

Every thing that we can imagine as bizarre, peculiar and offbeat, Judgementall Hai Kya has it all. Writer Kanika Dhillon has excelled in covering the ‘normal’ limits to write this crazy story. The story and it’s the brilliance of Pankaj Kumar (Director of Photography) strikes yet again (after Tumbbad). The story is knitted well with characters along with the cinematography till the end.

Judgementall Hai Kya’s Bobby was written just and only for Kangana Ranaut. She is great in every scene she’s in. Kangana is phenomenal with her stutters and we feel that’s how Bobby would react. Her character has been written with a lot of care. Rajkummar Rao is brilliant and maintains the mystery throughout. He’s good and plays with the mind of the audience masterfully. Right from the supporting cast, Hussain Dalal is great because of his confidence. His quirky t-shirts are good and brings in the comical relief. Both Amyra Dastur as Reema and Amrita Puri as Megha are very good. We have cameos by Jimmy Sheirgill, adding a refreshing break. He is stylish in the film. Satish Kaushik is also seen as a supporting cast.

Judgementall Hai Kya isn’t a normal movie. Right from its treatment to the narrative, everything is mad. Kangana Ranaut is definitely the leading star here.
