De De Pyaar De is a fun, entertaining coming-of-age family drama given by Luv Ranjan!

The film is well written and adds to the various positive bits of the film, it explores love giving it a refreshing angle, has something very strong to say but in a light way!

The story revolves around Ashish (Ajay Devgn) who is not an eligible bachelor and lives in London. The saga begins with his friend’s bachelor party and gets him in a tight situation. He meets the fun and carefree half-of-his-age girl Ayesha (Rakul Preet) and he falls in love. After they enjoy their time in London and talks with with his shrink friend (Jaaved Jaaferi), Ashish makes a decision to unveil the truth to his family back in India.

Ayesha gets to meet Ashish’s wife Manju (Tabu), daughter Ishika (Inayat Sood) and father (Alok Nath). Ayesha is not well accepted in the house, but she tries her best to settle in. Will Ashish and Ayesha get to have a peaceful solution to their issues? Or will Manju create trouble? That’s the rest of the story of De De Pyaar De.

De De Pyaar De is is a family-drama and romantic comedy. Humour is very cleverly written and is made to look effortless. Certain scenes are hilarious with just no dialogue, and Luv Ranjan’s screenplay is flawless. Ajay Devgn is great, he is aware what he’s doing and at he is not at all uncomfortable in playing the character. Rakul Preet has done well and given her best to this meaty screen space in the film. Tabu is exceptional like always, she rules the second half of the movie. Jimmy Shergill is fantastic and his charisma is all over with a very limited screen presence in the film. Alok Nath is was good in the film and also Jaaved Jaaferi shined the film.

De De Pyaar De is made with Akiv Ali’s direction that is fresh and exceptional. De De Pyaar De is an entertaining film and is well written.
