Sacred Games 2 is all set to feature and the fans know the wait is getting difficult by the day. Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Gaitonde and Saif Ali Khan’s Sartaj Singh are going to face new challenges to solve the old ones. Also introducing Pankaj Tripathi in a ‘game-changing’ role, many serious matters are going to get even more serious.

Season 1 was critically acclaimed as well as a huge hit amongst the audience; there’s a pre-release buzz for Season 2. Netflix has dropped a new teaser in which we see Sartaj Singh mouthing some cryptic dialogues.

In the second season of the Netflix hit, Pankaj Tripathi will be seen as the elusive Guruji, who is also known as Ganesh Gaitonde’s ‘teesra baap’.

Sharing his experience of reliving a character, Nawazuddin said, “last time when I was shooting Gaitonde, I had some questions in my mind that I did not have the answer. This time, there is a character arc that unveils his past, why he is behaving like that all the time, what is the thought behind his actions, those things are there in a much detail manner. In the process of playing the character, I discover that. It is more complex.”

The second season of Sacred Games will open on August 15. The second season stars Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, with Pankaj Tripathi, Kalki Koechlin, Luke Kenny, Ranvir Shorey, and Shobita Dhulipala among others.
