Jabariya Jodi is full of entertaining dialogues by Raaj Shaandaliyaa. The movie will surely make you laugh!

The film is set in Bihar, the story revolves around two leading characters – Abhay (Sidharth Malhotra) and Babli (Parineeti Chopra). They liked each other when they were kids. After a few years, we get to see Babli worried about her marriage and that no one will marry her and Abhay becomes the mafia who extorts grooms forcing them to get married. Abhay then picks up only those grooms who demand dowry and because of this.

The couple reunite as Abhay helps Babli’s friend to find a groom, and eventually start falling for each other again. Sharing about their childhood moments and post one romantic song, we see Abhay’s dad Hukum Dev Singh (Jaaved Jaaferi) decide on a certain deal with someone. After having a troubled past with his dad, Abhay still works for him, and how he’ll do everything to stand up to him for his love is what the major plot is all about.

Jabariya Jodi is scripted by Sanjeev K Jha and aims at both humour and emotions. Sidharth’s plot with Jaaved Jaaferi had bits to get the dramatic portions right. Sidharth Malhotra does very well even in the dramatic scenes. Both the lead actors were good. Parineeti Chopra gets a small scope to act in the film. The supporting cast including Sanjay Mishra is a great addition as always. Jaaved Jaaferi surprises and looks great as ever. The ‘shayar’ twist to Aparshakti Khurana was brilliant. All the friends of Parineeti and Sidharth were very good in their act.

Prashant Singh along with Vishal gives a good production values throughout. The songs are surprisingly good Khwabfaroshi and Ki Honda Pyaar are the top 2 tracks. Dhoonde Akhiyaan also adds to the highlight of the album.

Jabariya Jodi is an entertaining film backed with a serious issue. The film has many rib-tickling one-liners and actors those have excelled in it!
