Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas showcases a lot of hardwork by technicians, making a visual treat but the story is average.

The three major aspects of film-making including acting, story, production needed support!

The story is more of a travel journey with drama and is based in the scenic Himalayas. We have a debutante actor who is doing his best to act. Karan Sehgal (Karan Deol)gives his best in his first film. Sunny Deol directs his son and gives him the leading hero in this film. Karan goes for a trekking trip in Manali and meets leading lady Sahher Sethi (Sahher Bambba) who goes for a trek on Manali to avoid her relatives. She meets Karan, who likes to address her by her surname. The first half of the film presents the adventures of Ms. Sethi along with Karan who seems more like a tourist instead of a guide. They fall in love and enjoy their time at the mountains in the second half. Directed by Sunny Deol, the villain is Sahher’s ex-boyfriend belonging to a political family.

Jasvinder Singh Bath and Ravi Shankaran have written the film and is a mashup of romantic movie in Bollywood. Sunny Deol planned to make it full of technical bits but the script fails.

Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas stars Karan Deol the young man could not create much impact. He could not give a commercial-masala film, nor is it a romantic film. He needs to work on his expressions and avoid fake laughter, he does have the Deol trump card as an actor. Sahher Bambba is good and is natural playing the character in the film. She is impressive and can hold a scene all by her own. This is her first film, she was good.

Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas offers manytracks, only title track is memorable. With multiple versions, there is the one with very strange lyrics as “Meri Sahher nu kuch bhi hua…” (God forbid if something happened to my Sahher).

Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas is more of a travel show with beautiful scenic locations.
