Actors Athiya Shetty and Sooraj Pancholi were launched together in the Salman Khan produced film Hero in September 2015. Thereafter, while Athiya managed to get one more release two years ago — Mubarakan with Arjun Kapoor — Sooraj’s other film Time To Dance with Isabelle Kaif is still unreleased. Additionally, his third film, Satellite Shankar, will release on November 15.

Interestingly, even Athiya Shetty’s next release Motichoor Chaknachoor is all release on the same date. “It is an interesting clash, because both started their careers together and were launched by Salman Khan. These things are not in the hands of the young actors, but they are friends and would love to watch each other’s films,” says an industry veteran.

Sooraj Pancholi is waiting for portions of Time To Dance to be redone, he has also signed up for a sports biopic. “It is about this sportsman who has represented India in the Asian Games and has been undefeated,” says a source. Meanwhile, even Athiya is all set to do a biopic on Kashmiri student footballer Afshan Ashiq, which is produced by Gulshan Grover’s son Sanjay.
