Shah Rukh Khan begins shooting for cameo in Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has started working on his next project – a cameo in Ayan Mukerji‘s directorial ‘Brahmastra‘. The news was announced on Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday, making his fans and followers who have been missing him on screen the happiest. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy in pivotal roles.

A Twitter user posted a picture of an Instagram story that has since gone viral. The picture states that SRK has indeed begun shooting for his part. “Night schedule day 11 with SRK Brahmastra,” said the picture.

“It’s a guest appearance but Shah Rukh plays a pivotal role in taking Ranbir’s journey forward. He has already allotted his dates for his portions and will shoot before the year-end,” a source was earlier quoted as saying to Mumbai Mirror.

This will be the second collaboration of Shah Rukh Khan with Ranbir Kapoor after Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.

Brahmastra was previously scheduled to release in December this year but was postponed for Summer 2020. According to filmmaker Ayan Mukerji, there are many bits to be done on the film and he releases for the viewers only when he is satisfied with it. The upcoming film will also star South superstar Akkineni Nagarjuna in an important role.
