Sab Kushal Mangal has the introductory scene of the film with Baba Bhandari (Akshaye Khanna) who’s a groom-kidnapper in Colonelganj. He abducts the grooms looking for dowry and getting them married to the girls who cannot afford to pay the dowry. Pappu Mishra (Priyank Sharma) who is a star-reporter from Delhi and gets kidnapped when he visits his parents in Colonelganj. Baba decides to take revenge and offers Pappu to Mandira’s (Riva Kishan) family. The confusion begins as Pappy likes Mandira and she likes him too but she is not sure if she likes him. Pappu hates Baba Bhai and Baba Bhai is in love with Mandira. Pappu begins to like Baba Bhai and does everything to help him to get Mandira.

Sab Kushal Mangal is directed and written by Karan Vishwanath Kashyap. His story is yet to take shape and has a lot that is going wrong. Despite Brijendra Kala’s dialogues, there’s nothing much that is memorable from the film. Satish Kaushik comes up with Muslim angle and is very similar to Annu Kapoor’s in Dream Girl. In this film not a single thing to carry out for the audience.

Sab Kushal Mangal features Akshaye Khanna who plays the character’s demand but is not convincing. Priyank Sharma makes an average debut and so do Riva Kishan. Priyank Sharma has a straight-face throughout his screen-presence and there’s nothing hero-material about him. Satish Kaushik is good and Supriya Pathak and Rakesh Bedi are not utilised.

Sab Kushal Mangal with Karan Vishwanath Kashyap’s direction holds nothing to intrigue the audience. The production values to screenplay, everything in the film is slow. Harshit Saxena’s songs are not impressive.

Sab Kushal Mangal releases on 03rd January, 2020.
