Filmmaker Karan Johar‘s Dharma Productions has unveiled the first look of Sidharth Malhotra from the movie Shershaah. The film is a biopic on Kargil war hero Vikram Batra. “An ode to the brave journey of the Kargil War hero. Presenting @SidMalhotra in the UNTOLD TRUE STORY of Captain Vikram Batra (PVC) in #Shershaah. Releasing 3rd July, 2020,” read the latest tweet of Dharma Productions.
Sidharth Malhotra, who celebrates his 35th birthday today, the actor posted the posters on his social media handles and captioned them, “An absolute honor to be able to paint the big screen with the shades of bravery & sacrifice. Paying an ode to the journey of Captain Vikram Batra (PVC) and bringing the UNTOLD TRUE STORY with #Shershaah. Releasing 3rd July, 2020.”
In one of the posters of Shershaah shows Sidharth Malhotra as Vikram Batra in a war zone along with other soldiers. Kargil war hero Vikram Batra was posthumously awarded the Param Vir Chakra – India’s highest war-time gallantry award.
Sidharth Malhotra had earlier shared photos from the shoot of the war drama. He had captioned the photo, “Just a day back into city life & already missing the mountains #Shershaah #BackInBay.”
Sidharth had a great time shooting for Shershaah. “What weekends look like while you are shooting in the remote areas! In between shots for #Shershaah #ShootLife,” he wrote as he shared photos from Shershaah shoot.
Sidharth Malhotra tried his hands on cricket on the sets of Shershaah.
