Kaamyaab is Sanjay Mishra’s sweet story that is true and inspiring. The film is similar to a documentary, but it never loses its mainstream feel.  The subject is exciting and the film should be watched for Sanjay Mishra.

The film begin with the opening scene starring Sudheer (Sanjay Mishra), a 499 films side-actor, trying to get interviewed because cinema haunts him. He then realises that he is just one film away from doing 500 films in Bollywood. He desires to continue doing something in his life and attain success with his 500 by acting in just one more film. He lets everyone in the industry to know that Sudheer is back in the game. Soon he realizes that his last performance is the toughest one.

Kaamyaab’s idea of ‘side actor is your hero’ is the main portion in the majority of the film. With many films we hear that “Sanjay Mishra deserved more screen-space” Kaamyaab connects with the audience. Sanjay’s depiction of Sudheer says a lot about the legendary actor. Deepak Dobriyal portrays a Bollywood’s casting manager. The makers don’t take the typical route to bring out Dobriyal’s skills. Avatar Gill brings and shares some comical sequences. Viju Khote, Lilliput and actors share a special space in the film.

Kaamyaab has Hardik Mehta come to feature after being associated with scripts like Queen and Trapped. He picks a few elements from both of these movies and combines it up well in Kaamyaab. Bappi Lahiri’s Tim Tim is good and used to introduce Sudheer’s character. There are two more songs in the film.

Kaamyaab brings out a smile while showcasing the meanest realities of cinema.

Kaamyaab releases on 6th March, 2020.
