Actress Ritu Varma always looks for interesting roles and out-of-the-box stories. The actress has been working hard and looking for roles in Telugu and Tamil. And her upcoming movie, yet-to-be-titled Telugu film is yet another example of this.

The Dhruva Natchathiram actress will be seen starring in the role of a chef in director Ani Sasi’s film. The Keshava star is paired opposite Ashok Selvan in the fun and quirky entertainer. As the film is set in UK, the romantic drama was entirely shot there.

“Since cooking was one of Ritu Varma’s leisure pursuits and she loves spending the time in the kitchen when not shooting, she relished playing chef. The actress observed how a few chefs dress and serve their dishes,” said a source close to the unit. The Yevade Subramanyam star even trained for a few days to make her acting authentic.

“Since the actress is playing such a role for the first time, she was very excited. And the filmmakers were mightily impressed with her professionalism,” suggests the source.
