Brahmastra postponed to 2021, the major film schedule has been called off. Brahmastra unlikely to release on 4 Dec 2020.
Coronavirus has emerged as a major threat to the entertainment industry in India. With the coronavirus scare spreading far and wide, it is possible that the industry will remain shut down for at least 3-4 weeks. Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan’s Angrezi Medium was the movie to make it to the theatres. The release date of Sooryavanshi, 83, Coolie No. 1 has been postponed indefinitely. Karan Johar’s Brahmastra is likely to delay as the marathon final schedule is on hold. The film is much-delayed and is scheduled to release on 4 Dec 2020 but it seems unlikely that it will make it in time.
According to a source who Bollywood Hungama stated, “For now the final schedule involving Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Nagarjuna has been called off until further notice. The so called final release date after several postponements is December 4. It seems unlikely that Brahmastra would be able to meet the deadline.”
Brahmastra is a mega-budget movie and is making for over two years now. The upcoming film would not be able to make it in time (4 Dec 2020). With Brahmastra likely to go into 2021, 2020 would be the second year in a row with no release for Ranbir Kapoor. His last release was Sanju released in Jun 2018.
Brahmastra is starring Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy, Akkineni Nagarjuna, Dimple Kapadia, Divyenndu, Vishal Karwal, Sudev Nair, Saurav Gurjar, Rashi Mal. The music is directed by Pritam.
