Master: Thalapathy Vijay’s Action Thriller Postponed due to lockdown

Kollywood superstar Thalapathy Vijay who was last seen on the big screen in Atlee Kumar’s directorial Bigil, is in the headlines following his highly awaited Master. The action thriller which was initially slated to release on 9th April got postponed due to lockdown.

There have been reports about film makers planning to release Master on 22nd June, Thalapathy Vijay’s Birthday. But now as per the latest report from Tollywood.net, with the situation getting out of hands especially in Tamil Nadu due to pandemic, the makers are planning to release the on the auspicious occasion of Diwali.

Diwali has proved to be lucky for Thalapathy Vijay. His Bigil was a Diwali release and turned out to be a good success. Also, his previous Tamil ventures like Thuppakki, Kaththi which released on the festival of lights were massive hits. Although an official confirmation about the Master’s release date is yet to made by the makers.

So far the posters and music album of Master has been well received by the audience. Music for the film is composed of Kollywood music sensation Anirudh Ravichander.

The Thalapathy Vijay starrer has Super Deluxe actor Vijay Sethupathi as the lead antagonist. Apart from Thalapathy Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi, Master also has Malavika Mohanan, Andrea Jeremiah, and veteran actor Nassar in key roles.

Master which is been helmed by Lokesh Kanagarj will release in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Telugu languages.
