Filmmaker Hrithik Roshan is known for his looks and daredevil stunts in the YRF backed WAR alongside Tiger Shroff. Although there is no announcement regarding the actor’s next Bollywood outing, it is reported that he will soon be seen in Disney+ Hotstar’s upcoming web show based on the Hollywood series, Night Manager.

What comes as a shocker is that despite Hrithik Roshan delivering a huge hit in the form of YRF’s WAR, the actor is not going to feature in the much anticipated YRF Project 50.

It is also said that while Hrithik Roshan is keeping a sharp eye for scripts, he has not finalized on any project. The actor is reportedly set to shoot for Krrish 4 along with Night Manager, but he wants to do a light-hearted film before Krrish. Opening up on why is Hrithik missing from YRF Project 50 a certain source has been quoted by Bollywood Hungama saying, “Hrithik Roshan and Aditya Chopra are like brothers and are committed to do the sequel of War in the coming few years, however, Hrithik isn’t a part of YRF Project 50 announcement.”

Further on the same lines, the source said, “The intent is to do a quickie before Krrish 4, and him (Hrithik Roshan) along with his team are actively hunting for the right script. There are some that he has shortlisted, but he hasn’t really signed the dotted lines yet. All Hrithik Roshan fans should be patient as he is on the lookout of something special to follow up the success of Super 30 and War.”

Fans are expecting a lot from WAR 2. According to the source says that Hrithik Roshan, YRF head honcho Aditya Chopra and director Siddharth Anand want to take the sequel to international standards. “War 2 will happen after Siddharth Anand wraps up his work on SRK’s Pathan. It’s a special franchise in the spy world for Hrithik, Siddharth and Adi and the idea is to take things a level above War, closer to the international standards of this genre.”

While they are more than excited for WAR 2, it certainly is disheartening to know that Hrithik Roshan will not be a part of the much anticipated YRF Project 50. Share your views in the comments section below.
