The 8-episode shows Flesh showcases the dirty world and makes you feel the gut-wrenching reality. Produced by Siddharth Anand, Mamta Anand – the film comes from crime and drama genre and is streaming on: Eros Now.

Flesh review’s story and the screenplay is similar to what we have watched a lot of Bollywood films about human trafficking. Rani Mukerji starrer Mardaani was one of the films which reached closest to the reality. But Eros Now’s Flesh takes the topic to another level altogether. The two stories of Flesh are about a bunch of kids being caught up for child trafficking. In this track, a girl named Rajji along with her younger brother Raju tries to run away a few times but never succeeds. And the second track is about a 16-year-old girl Zoya being kidnapped by her Instagram boyfriend who sells her away to human traffickers. How the two tracks connect with each other and its complexities make the whole storyline.

Pooja Ladha Surti’s screenplay takes both tracks and combines them in an effective way. Right from the very start till the end it makes a very disturbing watch. There are a number of triggers that are going to boil your blood. The paedophiles, the s*xual violence, murders all bloody in the show. And of these make make Flesh a very difficult watch, it has a positive factor of the show only.

The screenplay is gripping and very tight, there is always a lot of curiosity to know what comes next. There are a number of twists that keep on giving shocks. Flesh keeps everyone involved even when it seems impossible to understand. Adding suspense – Swara Bhasker’s character is the main lead of the show along with many. Swara Bhasker plays a character and presents the shades with great performance. Akshay Oberoi is fantastic and aces the character of a bisexual villain. He is able to portray layers of the character with extreme confidence. Mahima Makwana is fine along with Yudhishthir Urs and Uday Tikekar. Vidya Malavade is good and Natasa Stankovic is a surprise package and is a treat to watch her action scenes. Ishaan Khanna is well packaged surprise as well. Chaitanya Sardeshpnde gives a good performance as he plays a negative character. Geeta Agarwal is fantastic in the character of Sardarni. Danish Aslam has given good direction to the show. Flesh makes the audience think about the illegal trade and makes them uncomfortable.

Flesh is a very well crafted series bringing the ugly side of the world. Not recommended for faint-hearted but do watch if you are not.
