Torbaaz is all set to rise as it releases exclusively on Netflix on 11 December, 2020. Sanjay Dutt starrer film has a story of the journey of redemption and rising from personal tragedy, set in Afghanistan. The upcoming Sanjay Dutt film releases after his successful recovery from ill health earlier this year.

Sharing about his Netflix debut, Sanjay Dutt said, “The story of Torbaaz is closely aligned with the reality of Afghanistan, and the beautiful depiction of cricket as a means of deliverance is as true for the children as it is for my character, Nasser Khan, who bounces back from personal tragedy. I am truly grateful for all the love and support that I have received over the past few months, and I am glad to be returning to the screen with this powerful film. Torbaaz is the story of one man who rises above his personal tragedy. She decides to transform the lives of refugee camp children who are on the path of destruction through the game of cricket.

Torbaaz is backed by Raju Chadha. Raju Chadha presents is a big movie production house which also engages in distribution & exhibition. She is founded by well known entrepreneur Raju Chadha who’s the Chairman of the Wave Group with interests in real estate, sugar manufacturing, paper manufacturing, Distilleries & breweries and film production & distribution. The production house has also presented & distributed many films including Sarkar 3, Daddy, Main aur Charles & Saheb Biwi aur Gangster 3.
