Bittu is Karishma Dev Dube’s short story about friendship. The film just conveys the story of a tragic day and the series of events. Bittu is starring Rani Kumari, Renu Kumari and Saurabh Saraswat.

Bittu and Chand are very close friends who are dealing with childhood where there is a speedy race towards urbanisation. Bittu is a sharp determined girl who is street smart but but is also not so good at studies. One day Chand laughs at her with the class when Bittu fails to answer a question, they fall apart and friendship is broken. Sadly there is a tragedy that breaks the heart. Bittu is a humane story that connects with the masses and still not preachy. Writer-director Karishma Dev Dube takes inspiration from a 2013 case that happened in Bihar. Around 29 kids died after they fell ill in a primary school after eating their mid-day meal contaminated with pesticide.

Rani Kumari (Bittu) plays the part with all her heart. Renu Kumari joins her friend in her chronicles. She brings mystery and is all revealed in the film. Saurabh Saraswat is able to give his strong voice and makes his presence felt. His character is well written and impresses in the limited space. Bittu Bittu is a challenging 16-minute with few dialogues. The film has expressions is full of emotions. Music is well fitted in right place giving the maximum effect and it works well.

Bittu comes with top names like Guneet Monga, Ekta Kapoor and Tahira Kashyap who are backing the film now.
