Atrangi Re is a Aanand L. Rai directorial and will be commence a shooting schedule across Madurai, Delhi and Mumbai.

Atrangi Re starring Sara Ali Khan, Akshay Kumar, and Dhanush is one of the most anticipated movies of the year. Directed by Aanand L Rai the film team has already wrapped up the shooting and the question was when will the film hit shores. The makers announced the release date of the film. The announcement has now made it to Koimoi’s exclusive.

Atrangi Re is all set to hit the big screens on August 6 this year. The film makers announced this with a new poster with the date on it. The movie marks the first collaboration between the trio Dhanush, Sara Ali Khan and Akshay Kumar and is touted to me a romantic drama. Not much details about the storyline is out, but AR Rahman is composing music for the movie.

Produced by Bhushan Kumar and Aanand L Rai himself, Atrangi Re has been shot in several locations across North India and this also includes the iconic Taj Mahal. Akshay Kumar, Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush are all set to resume shooting in October for Atrangi Re.
