Actor Chiranjeevi has resumed shoot for Koratala Siva’s Acharya. The movie stars Kajal Aggarwal, Ram Charan and Pooja Hegde in pivotal roles.

Chiranjeevi starrer film shoots have resumed in Telangana, the actor is back on the sets of Koratala Siva’s Acharya. The movie was slated for a theatrical release on May 13 but due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, the filmmakers had to postpone the movie indefinitely. According to sources, only a small portion is pending for filming. The film is directed by Koratala Siva, Acharya features Chiranjeevi and Kajal Aggarwal in lead roles with Ram Charan and Pooja Hegde in extended cameos.

Chiranjeevi has recently paid tribute to Dilip Kumar on his demise today (July 7), joined the sets of Acharya to resume shoot. The film is directed by Koratala Siva. The entire cast and crew were shooting for the movie before it came to a sudden halt due to the second wave of the novel coronavirus pandemic. Post lockdown, the entire team has resumed shooting in Hyderabad. According to sources, only 10 days of shooting is left with important scenes, including a fight sequence with Ram Charan. Although there have been no reports about Ram Charan joining the sets yet, it is believed that he will soon once the shooting of SS Rajamouli’s RRR is wrapped.

ALL ABOUT ACHARYA
The action drama, Acharya is directed by Koratala Siva and is starring Ram Charan who plays a naxalite Siddha, opposite Pooja Hegde, who portrays his love interest Neelambari. Though Ram Charan will be seen in an extended cameo, Chiranjeevi in an interview revealed how it is a full-fledged role. Sonu Sood, Jisshu Sengupta, Saurav Lankesh, Sangeetha Krish and Tanikella Bharani will be seen in pivotal roles. Once the shoot is completed, the filmmakers will announce the new release date for the film. Tirru has been brought on board to handle cinematography while Mani Sharma will compose music for the film.
