Amber Heard CONFIRMS Being A Part Of Aquaman 2?

Read Time:1 Minute, 27 Second

Amber Heard and Johnny Depp are said to be pitted against each other in the court. Earlier in July this year, the duo indulged over the trial against The Sun. While they await a verdict, the dates of the $50 million defamation suit against Amber is presently being finalized. The couple is at loggerheads about that too!

For the unversed, just a few days ago, the trial dates have been set for January 21-28. However, Johnny Depp has requested the court to push it back as he has to shoot for Fantastic Beasts 3. The mega actor claims that he has already signed a bond with Warner Bros. If he now fails to be present on sets, he may have to face some serious repercussions.

Now, Amber Heard is opposing the motion of her ex-husband. The actress claims that she too has to shoot for Aquaman 2. As per the court documents, the actress claims that the shooting for the Jason Momoa starrer begins in February 2021. Hence, if Johnny Depp’s request is accepted, her shooting schedule may be at risk.

Does that mean Amber Heard is indeed a part of Aquaman 2? For long, petitions are being filed along with rumours around possible replacements. Warner Bros. have decided to continue with the original cast.

As per The Sun, Amber Heard’s lawyer mentioned, “Although Mr Depp had been contacted in late June or July with the proposed filming dates, he did not alert them to the trial dates. Mr Depp decided that, rather than speak with his employer to work his film commitments around his trial, he asks this court to subserviently reschedule around his employment and the entire film schedule and production.”
