Read Time:2 Minute, 39 Second

Movie: Housefull 4 Cast: Akshay Kumar, Riteish, Bobby, Kriti, Pooja, Chunky, Johnny, Jamie Lever, Rana Dagubatti Writer: Screenplay Farhad Samji, Aakash, Madhur Sharma, Tushar, Sparsh, Tasha, Story by Sara Bodinar Director: Sajid Nadiadwala Our rating: 3.5/5 Official trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gcHH34cEl3Y

Housefull 4 has the film with its ‘sorry but not sorry’ catch lines; the makers seems to have worked around the story with entertaining dialogues. Akshay Kumar and the team works to make everyone laugh. The two parts of the film are co-related with each other and both of them suffer from a few minor issues such as bringing out the dramatics. Just as the great Joker had said, “Comedy is subjective” and his seems to be a unique style of comedy. Those who have enjoyed Housefull 1 & 2 and disliked the 3rd one, will definitely like this.

Just as the trailer suggested, the story is divided into two eras – 1419 and 2019. Harry (Akshay Kumar), Roy (Riteish Deshmukh) and Max (Bobby Deol) own a salon and are in a debt of a goon. Just to repay the amount, they mae a decision to fall in love with some millionaire girls and are successful to do so. Harry keeps getting these minor flashbacks that we think is his previous birth. The story proceeds and Harry gets to connect with everything and understand the flashbacks.

According to him, he is actually King Bala, Roy is Bangdu Maharaj and Max is Dharamputra from 1419. The twist is that they’re not with the same girls they’re with in 2019. Just to avoid all the confusion and make sure that everyone ends up with the ideal girl, Harry works to explain his part to the other lot. Housefull 4 has many writers, they’ve added many bits in the film and are entertaining; with VFX and Akshay Kumar’s acting. Humour comes with a story with ‘comedy of errors’. Sajid has his favourite Queen Elizabeth scene with her sharing a kiss with Akshay Kumar calling him ‘Kutriya’.

Housefull 4 features Akshay Kumar who has managed to bring out laughter was in 2012’s Housefull 2. Sajid Khan stars Akshay Kumar and knows how to bring out the best out of him. Riteish Deshmukh and Akshay are both very good. In the first three installments, both of them have does well. Housefull 4 has a lot of parts for Akshay Kumar. Bobby Deol is good like we saw Abhishek Bachchan in Housefull 3. Kriti Kharbabanda gets the chunk of the role with a hilarious twist in the 1419 era. Kriti Sanon and Pooja Hegde share some fun filled moments along with looking great onscreen. Chunkey Panday and Johnny Lever are both super brilliant as they contribute to the humour of the film. Johnny is exceptiona in the second half, just wait for it. Nawazuddin Siddiqui appears in his cameo. Jamie Lever and Rana Dagubatti are both good.

Housefull 4 songs, Shaitan Ka Saala and Chammo are good with Ek Chumma, lyrics are average.

Housefull 4 is unabashed, entertainer and a fun comedy, a good festive watch!

Housefull 4 releases on 25th October, 2019.
